 hay Reader's throughout the week I have been reading a book called Paekakariki flood

 WALT use prior knowledge we making a text to text connections

My book is about a family in Paekakariki. It started with a littile

Girl named ama and and a cat 

Named lucky who were sliping

And mum came out and stated

To shout and thay had to 

avecuate the house because

Of a flood and so mum and ama and the cat lucky and popey the dog  went out of the houes and the Road was covered all over water and ama 

Had to jrob her blanck but thay got to grandma and grandad house

Floods are a natural incident

Which happens when I try piece of land or a suddenly get covered in water and it really dangerous wen ti get to high

There is to tips of floods and they are flash floods and rapid onset flood and slow onset flood

My complementary text is about a book of a kid who had a flood at school but said he did nothing at school.Then they had to evacuate the school and they
